When I started building websites as a lieutenant in the Air Force in 1995, the World Wide Web was young and so was I. For over twenty-five years I worked with clients to hone their business strategy online and build their digital presence. Sometimes we succeeded beyond our dreams and means, and at other times the dot com bust, the Great Recession, the pandemic, miscommunications, politics, shrinking budgets, and other factors stunted our best efforts.
Just as the COVID pandemic set in, I pivoted my practice to website strategy advising. While I learned a significant amount about business and advising, my attention, passion, budget, and focus continued to be split in too many incoherent directions to be very successful at any one.
That’s why I’m closing my design and strategy practice down completely.
I will maintain select existing client websites and projects as needed.
I will focus my time and energy on establishing my mother’s art legacy, and care for her and my family. I appreciate the trust and support clients, partners, friends, and family have placed in me through the decades.
